Your local ASQ Member Leaders welcome you to 2017. Your commitment to quality and "Doing it right the first time." is the common denominator between us. Although our industries may differ there is much that we can share and learn from each other. The main ASQ, tells you more about our global vision, history, code of ethics, leadership as a Professional organization.
This Section website is geared towards the over 200 "quality minded" professionals located throughout Northern Alberta. Our section was originally formed in 1980. The members come from a wide variety of industries and perspectives; including:

ASQ Canada Edmonton Section adds value to ASQ membership and promotes quality in the Northern Alberta through facilitating local access to information and education on quality principles, practices and experience, and by providing opportunities to share ideas and learning.

Atheer is a Program Manager, with twenty years of experience in the project management, planning, development, coaching and management of high volume customer service and call centers operational excellence. Atheer is a PMP and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified; in addition he’s Certified Manager of Quality and Organization Excellence; he also has B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Baghdad.

Colleen Lawrence is the President of Spectrum Quality Advisors Inc. providing consulting, auditing, and training services for management systems such as ISO9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental, and Safety. Ms. Lawrence is a certified Quality Lead Auditor, a former auditor in Automotive, Aerospace, and Food Safety. She is certified in Change Management, and has been a national speaker on a variety of quality issues, as well as an ASQ member since 1987.
Ms. Lawrence has 20+ years’ experience in a variety of markets, including the: Oil and Gas, Engineering, Third Party Certification audits, Manufacturing and Packaging, and
Laboratory, Calibration and Repair Services.
Doina is a Senior ASQ Member with extensive experience as a Quality Manager, ranging from being a Project Quality Manager for major projects, Business Unit Quality Manager, Portfolio Quality Manager and Location Quality Director for WorleyParsons Edmonton over more than 9 years. Currently, she is the Quality Manger of Interior Roads BC.
Doina has been an ASQ member since 2008, and she is holding a number of certification with ASQ – CQA and CMQ/OE. She is a PMI certified Risk Management Professional, and Project Management Professional, with a B Sc. In Civil and Structural Engineering from UTCB – Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest.
A dedicated and passionate quality professional, a Senior ASQ Member, Doina served as an ASQ Member Leader in various roles since 2008 – business plan (SMP) chair, vice- chair, section chair and currently she is the Past Chair of ASQ Edmonton Section.

Chair Regine is currently working for Packers Plus in various quality related positions since 2011. She is a certified Tool Maker and holds a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of cooperative education in Loerrach, Germany.
Over 25 years she gained experience in Quality Management in Germany and Canada. Regine has been a ASQ member since Dec 2012 and is ASQ certified Quality Auditor.

Deepak has a Master's Degree in Total Quality Management with Executive MBA in Materials Management. He has been serving ASQ Edmonton section executive board since 2010 and prior to Treasurer position with ASQ Edmonton, he has held Voice of Customer Chair and Newsletter Editor positions. Deepak is certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management systems. He currently works with SAI Global as Lead Auditor. Deepak has more than 28 years of Manufacturing experience in Quality Control & Assurance of Petrochemicals, Man-made Fibres and Oil and Gas sector.

Vick is a graduate in Chemical Engineering & a Professional Engineer registered with APEGA. He is currently employed as Global Quality Leader for GE Oil & Gas - Pressure Control. Vick has 20+ years of professional experience in Project / Process Management, QHSE Management Systems & Six Sigma in Oil & Gas Industry.
Vick is Certified Manager of Quality & Organizational Excellence, Certified Quality Engineer & Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He had the opportunity to be the part of the ASQ team for development ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt exam. Vick is also certified as Project Management Professional (PMP), Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Management Systems. He has his certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence through the American Society for Quality, certified ISO 9001: 2008 RABQSA Lead Auditor through BSI and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, USA, a Master of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from California State University, USA. Salim presently is working as a Quality Coordinator at the University of Alberta.

Washington Enabulele is the Quality Manager for Cameron Canada Corporation, Surface Systems in Edmonton. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Production Engineering and a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria. Washington is a Professional Engineer and ASQ certified Six Sigma Green Belt Belt. He is also a Senior Member of ASQ and Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

You can always teach new tricks to this younger dog! Bobby strongly believes in continuous improvement and lifelong learning and is always keen on learning new skills and taking up new challenges. His qualifications demonstrate that he walks the bark! Bobby is an MBA (Finance) from Memorial University, a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt by ASQ, Six Sigma Green Belt by General Electric and a CPA, CGA. He is also a Bachelor of Engineering. He has extensive experience in continuous improvement, project estimation, project management and auditing.
Prior to the current role with ASQ Edmonton, Bobby has also served the members and leaders as an Audit Chair, a Newsletter Chair and a Member at Large. He has also made a positive contribution to the community through his volunteer work with Junior Achievement and with Air Cadets 395 Squadron in the recent past.

Stephen Hall is a Senior Member of ASQ.
He recently received the ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence. Prior to that he achieved the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. Stephen teaches Quality Management and Project Management at NAIT. He is looking forward to serving our membership as Chair of the Education Committee. Outside of ASQ and work, he is active in PMI and Toastmasters.

Puneet has held various positions in the Edmonton chapter including Secretary, Membership Chair, Program Chair, Vice Chair and Voice of Customer Chair. Puneet currently holds the ASQ-CMQ/OE, RABQSA certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 Management Systems and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. Puneet also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with specialization in Marketing. Puneet has 24 years of combined professional experience in the area of Power Products, IT and ISO 9001 Quality System. Puneet is currently employed as a Quality Professional with Enbridge Inc.

Kimberly Belland, Director of Kimber-Lean Consulting Ltd. believes your team members are your greatest strategic asset to your organization. Kimberly has over 20 years experience in managing teams to success in large and small businesses. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean VOC Blue Belt and Project Management have added to her toolbelt for developing a quality environment. Post Secondary instructor of Lean Six Sigma and Project Management. Over 15 years of training, coaching, and public speaking experience add to the enhancement of your business improvements and/or conference.
She has served on the ASQ (American Society for Quality) Edmonton Board for 4 years and belongs to ASQ Lean. Projects areas include Retail/Service, Pharmacy, Office, Government and Warehouses.
Outside of work she enjoys basketball, kayaking, camping and community events volunteering.

Rajeev Chadha is the industrial technology advisor with the National Research Council (NRC), the Canadian government's premier research and technology organization that works with clients and industry partners to provide innovation support, strategic research, and scientific and technical services. Rajeev worked as a Six Sigma CI lead in the mining sector with Mosaic Potash ULC Canada (2009-2013) and served Ontario’s automotive industry from 2000 to 2009 with launching several top-rated vehicles. He received a master’s degree in management and systems, and another in process and food engineering as a United Nations UNDP Fellow. He started his career as a bio-conversion process engineer in the pulp and paper industry, and diversified his career working in food, biochemical, and healthcare industrial research. Rajeev is the former chair of ASQ Saskatchewan, and has represented Saskatoon Folkfest & SIA (Saskatchewan Intercultural Association) on their board of directors. Rajeev is also a member of APEGS (Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan), and his research interests include process improvements, Lean Six Sigma in mining and manufacturing, process control engineering, total quality management, and strategic management.

Dan is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Oil & Gas University of Ploiesti & a Professional Engineer registered with APEGA.
Dan is also a CET in mechanical engineering registered with ASET. He is currently quality management and manufacturing processes improvement consultant. Dan has 20+ years of professional experience in Project/Process Management, Lean 6 Sigma, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction and Maintenance for Oil and Gas Industry.
Dan is certified in Project and Quality Management from NAIT, Certified Lean 6 Sigma from Cameron University and certified Lead Auditor ISO 9001 with RABQSA.
He has serving ASQ Edmonton section executive board since 2014 and prior Treasurer he has held Publicity Chair position.
